Cheddar - yum yum

Not the cheese - the carboot! It was mega!! We got up at half four on Sunday morning to get there for 6am, and it was totally necessary. Carbooting is a serious business, there were people in the car even before we unloaded! Cold and rainy day outside as we sat in the go-cart barn - big flask and lots of flapjacks later we arrive home with £65 and a in need of a big nap. Thank you Annelies Puddy for being my carboot buddy and colour co-ordinator!!

Busking Bristol

I have taken to the street of Bristol to raise funds, look out for me and Simon (who is alos going on the project) anywhere between Queens Square, the Bear Pit and the harbourside. It is a sure fire way to play faster accordian just to keep the fingers warm!

Carbooteeeee

So -...a lovely friend and I spent our Sunday morning in the rainy/sunny field down at Clifton Carboot. It was not mega busy, but I have learnt that the carboot world is dog-eat-dog. We were jumped for jewellery even before we'd put up the pasting table! We sold some tights, and a digital camera, some other bits and bobs, but mainly came back with a car of organised boxes for a (hopefully) more successful round two next week. All in all we raised £30, which is a start! Cheddar Carboot next weekend here we come! Look out for us!
