The Dead Memory House

This summer Theatre Corsair’s new production The Dead Memory House premieres as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, at the wonderful Summerhall (www.summerhall.co.uk)-a venue already recommended by the Guardian's Lyn Gardner as the venue to watch this summer.

The Dead Memory House is an intimate performance using still image and live action to tell the stories of three women. These are stories of memories, loss, adventure and identity. How will they welcome you into their home? Will there be food? And whose house is this anyway?

This summer Theatre Corsair’s new production The Dead Memory House premieres as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, at the wonderful Summerhall (www.summerhall.co.uk)-a venue already recommended by the Guardian's Lyn Gardner as the venue to watch this summer.

The Dead Memory House is an intimate performance using still image and live action to tell the stories of three women. These are stories of memories, loss, adventure and identity. How will they welcome you into their home? Will there be food? And whose house is this anyway?

Lead by Hanna Harlyn, Leah Georges and Laura Corbett, Theatre Corsair work collaboratively, devising new text and characters, to explore themes of presence, absence and closeness, identity, adventure and the excavation of memories to create new narratives. We create a platform for female perspectives to be interpreted.

We are very excited about this production! Our whole creative team is now in place, our venue is confirmed, our flyers are designed and our rehearsals are in full flow. What we now need is your support!

WeFund donations will be used for:
- set production materials
- props
- costumes
- promotion (flyers & posters)
- contributions towards the expenses of our volunteers
- contribution towards our accommodation costs

Thank you very much for visiting our page and finding out a bit more about what we do. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
