Losing Face
project created by LaFaute, project category Theatre
Project started on October 27, 2012
Set in a convalescence home during the Battle of Britain, four RAF officers are recovering from reconstructive surgery on burn injuries - and try to piece back together their disfigured bodies and their lives, as war wages on around them.
Based on the true story of The Guinea Pig Club. This new play is scheduled to be performed at The Drayton Arms Theatre in South Kensington in April 2013 - directed by Anna Ostergren and written by Foteini Georganta. Respectful, insightful and darkly humorous, Losing Face looks at the lives of four RAF convalescing officers as they try to navigate their new reality: injury, rehabilitation and re-defining their lives and dreams, at the beginning of WWII.
